About Me
I am a graduate from Leeds College of Music with a BA (Hons) in Jazz Studies. In 2008/2009 I held the guitar chair in the LCM Big Band, which toured the North of England and performed in the BBC venue with special guest Steve Waterman. During my time in Leeds I did many gigs locally and I still return to do regular duo gigs with saxophonist George Grant. I have been playing guitar seriously since the beginning 13 years ago when I initially took formal lessons. Before studying in Leeds I was massively into instrumental rock guitar and became a highly proficient technician on the instrument and did various gigs and lessons in the North West. Over the years, with obsessive levels of study, and keen interest in a variety of music, I have become a very well rounded and versatile musician and teacher.
