I have limited availability for one to one lessons at my studio in Winstanley, Wigan (see contact page) for the following:
I have a fully equipped purpose built studio with recording facilities and instruments available for loan during lessons free of charge. Group lessons can be arranged on request.
My lesson rates are as follows:
30 minute lesson - £15 - For children and absolute beginners
40 minute lesson - £20 - For everyone else (Most popular)
60 minute lesson - £30 - For advancing guitarists
Anyone can learn to play. If you're struggling to teach yourself get in touch to arrange a lesson with no pressure or obligations. If you've always fancied having guitar lessons but weren't sure or lack confidence in your ability there is nothing to worry about. I have taught every single level of ability from complete beginners who have never held a guitar before, to students who are passing grade 8 exams, doing music degrees at university and playing semi professionally in bands. Age is no obstacle as I've taught students from as young as 5 and up to their 70s who have been some of my best students.
Lessons include access to my collection of music resources (many books and hundreds of backing tracks) and the opportunity to contact me at any time with queries related to our lessons or my expert advice about more general things such as musical equipment purchases. It also includes the time I put into thoroughly preparing the lessons and compiling appropriate study material. I can make recordings and full HD videos of students and make them available on CD and also offer training with recording and notation software.

Online Guitar Lessons
I am teaching one to one lessons online via webcam chat. This works incredibly well as the high quality of webcams and high speed broadband internet allows it. I am able to transfer materials in the form of pdf and mp3 to you live during the lesson and work through all the material just as in face to face. All you need is a webcam, skype software, a broadband connection, and your guitar and I can teach you anywhere in the world. If this sounds like your thing, drop me a line!
